This is an ideal trick for anyone who isn't much of a card expert, but still wants to look like one.

You draw a playing card (Bicycle) and show it. The spectator may take a card from the deck and look at it. The card is remembered and put back into the deck.
Then you are going to shuffle the deck, but in a very special way. The deck is divided in two, and you shuffle one half face up and the other half face down.
The technical magic term for this is a mess.

With a snap of the fingers, suddenly all but one of the cards are in the right position, and this is the chosen card. No gripping is required.

If you can shake, you can display this stunning effect.
