Fusion Mosaic Phenomenon by Phill Smith combines art, photography, mentalism, and visual magic in a routine with a particularly strong finale. What begins as a simple selection of various images ends with nine photo cards that together form one large image.

You introduce a deck of photo cards that appears to come from a photo exhibition. The deck is shuffled, and the spectator is shown five seemingly random images. From these, the spectator chooses and remembers one image. The cards are returned to the deck, after which the deck can be shuffled again.

While the spectator focuses on the image, you draw nine different photo cards from the deck. Not a single image seems to match. When the imagined image is named, a first surprise follows: it turns out to be on top of the deck.

But then comes the real finale. The nine previously selected images are turned over and placed side by side. Together, they form an impossible one-to-large replica of the exact image the viewer had in mind. A colorful and highly visual reveal that is totally different from a traditional card prediction.

The deck is built for five different mosaic developments. Furthermore, the images used are recognizable subjects, offering opportunities to apply the system creatively within, for example, drawing divination. A double backer, a double facer, and two extra reveal cards are also included. This allows for, among other things, a surprising combination where a dog ends up driving the car.

All cards feature Phil Smith's own photo marking system. This allows you to recognize which image is on a card from the back. Additionally, the deck contains a practical system that helps to build the mosaic correctly every time during the routine.

The presentation requires no specific spoken language and can therefore be performed in various languages. The markings themselves, however, are in English. The deck comes in a subtle card box from the fictional photography exhibition LUMINANCE. An extra QR reveal is even incorporated into the bottom of the box.
