The Art of OBEY!

Meet OBEY Playing Cards, a special collection of playing cards inspired by the iconic art of Shepard Fairey.

This beautiful series brings together three different eras from OBEY's history in three unique card designs.

With powerful illustrations, striking colors, and luxury packaging, these playing cards are an impressive tribute to more than thirty years of street art, creativity, and social expression.

The art of Shepard Fairey

Shepard Fairey is one of the most famous and influential street art artists in the world.

Since 1989, his work has been known for bold designs, powerful symbols, and provocative messages.

His art challenges people to think about power, control, propaganda, and the influence of images on our society.

What started as street art grew into a globally recognizable art style that has inspired generations of artists and creatives.

With OBEY Playing Cards, this special art now comes to life on playing cards.

Three special designs

The OBEY collection consists of three different versions.

Each version represents a different era in the history of OBEY.

Each deck of cards has its own unique back and specially designed packaging.

The fronts of the cards are identical across the three versions and feature colorful, iconic artworks from three decades of OBEY.

As a result, the three card decks together form a beautiful collection, while each version is also a special collector's item individually.

Luxury packaging with foil printing and embossing

The card boxes are also true works of art.

Each package features multiple layers of foil printing and exceptionally detailed relief.

The combination of these techniques gives the designs extra depth and a luxurious appearance.

The powerful illustrations and refined finish make the card boxes just as special as the playing cards themselves.

A tribute to more than thirty years of OBEY

This new collection follows a previous collaboration with Shepard Fairey's team.

Twelve years after the introduction of Rebels, special playing cards are once again being presented in which Fairey's recognizable art takes center stage.

The three designs show how his style has evolved over the years, without losing his distinctive powerful presence.

From bold street art to iconic cultural images: OBEY Playing Cards brings together different facets of its artistic work.
