The Hidden Code gives a modern twist to predicting a named playing card. Instead of a traditional reveal, you use a barcode and a QR code to predict the same card in two different ways.

You set the advertisement card aside and then spread out the deck of cards. A spectator may freely name a playing card. When you turn over the advertisement card, the barcode on the card reveals the chosen playing card.

But it doesn't stop there. The QR code on the same card can be scanned, revealing the exact same playing card again. This gives the routine a second, modern climax.

The handling requires virtually no dexterity and, according to the creators, can be learned within a few minutes. This makes The Hidden Code accessible to beginners, while the unusual method of revealing it is also interesting for experienced magicians.
