Bicycle Chinese Rising is a striking rising card effect. A freely chosen card is put back, the deck hangs from a Chinese stick, and under a cloth, exactly the chosen card magically rises out of the game.

Bicycle Chinese Rising is a special version of the classic Rising Card effect, where a Chinese stick and a deck of cards with two holes create a striking presentation.

You show the deck of cards and the two holes running through the cards. The Chinese stick is first inserted through one hole. By moving the stick back and forth, you demonstrate that all the cards are actually perforated. The same is then shown for the second hole.

Then you put the stick away and shuffle the deck. A spectator is completely free to choose and look at a card. The card is then placed back anywhere in the deck.

Now the Chinese stick is placed through one of the holes again. You hold the stick at the end, so that the entire deck of cards hangs from it.

The deck is covered with a silk cloth. You ask the spectator which card was chosen, and then the impossible happens. The named card magically rises from the hanging deck.

According to the description, no card is exchanged during the routine and no force is required. The spectator is therefore free to choose a card.

Bicycle Chinese Rising combines a classic rising card with an unusual visual presentation where the deck visibly hangs from the stick while the selected card appears from the deck.
