Nikolas' Nostalgia is a mentalism routine centered on toys and recognizable childhood memories. The specially designed cards look like cards from the classic Snap game, providing a natural opportunity to talk to your audience about the past.

You take the Nostalgia Snap Cards out of a black velvet pouch and give a set to the spectator. The cards are shuffled and then dealt face down on the table. The spectator stops whenever he or she wants, looks at the toy on the chosen card, and then shuffles it back in with the other cards.

Next, you seemingly read the spectator's thoughts and reveal exactly which toy he or she is thinking of. This part of the routine can even be repeated.

For the final, the cards are dealt into two stacks, and the spectator may shuffle and cut the deck themselves. A card is chosen from one of the stacks. Then, you draw the prediction that has been in the black bag from the beginning. The prediction turns out to match the choice made perfectly.

Nostalgia also features various bonus routines. For instance, there is an ESP-style Match Up routine, but with recognizable toys instead of abstract symbols. A routine for two people is also explained that initially seems to go wrong but ultimately ends with an unexpected reveal. Additionally, there is a routine with a peek wallet where the spectator's childhood memories take center stage.

The complete routine takes approximately 6 to 8 minutes and is suitable for intimate performances and table hopping. No dexterity is required, and thanks to the instant reset, you can easily perform the effect multiple times during a performance.

You receive two complete sets of Nostalgia Snap Cards, five extra cards with a differently colored back for the Match Up routine, a black velvet pouch, and access to an extensive instructional video with multiple routines and tips.

Nostalgia combines mind reading and predictions with a recognizable theme, so you not only present a magic trick but also create a natural opportunity for interaction and personal stories about childhood memories.
